At 9 a.m. we depart from the hotel towards the Fort Zeelandia Complex, where you will stroll along the many buildings from the colonial past in the area, such as the Presidential Palace and the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Peter and Paul. After the Cathedral Basilica, we board a bus and visit the Central Market where you can get acquainted with the diversity of fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other goods that Suriname has to offer. We then visit the Keizerstraat where the Mosque and Synagogue are located side by side. This way you can learn everything about the multicultural society in Suriname.

We continue our tour by bus towards the Wanica district. At the Tout Lui Faut Canal Road we make a short stop at the refinery of Staatsolie where the guide tells you more about Staatsolie and the refinery. After about 2.8 kilometers we arrive at a unique Wellness Club of international allure with a unique mix of local and international wellness facilities. After the short tour of the resort you can relax in the wellness pool & jacuzzi. When you have calmed down, you will be brought to a special massage cabana where we will start with a foot massage and proceed to the Hot stone body massage. The chef of the wellness resort will surprise you with an exclusive lunch not on the menu. After lunch we return to the hotel in Paramaribo.
